BrainStream: Mother Nature Having a Bad Month

Just heard news of a M6.0 earthquake just outside Parksfield, CA with 34 aftershocks - 4 of them being 4,0 or greater, in the past hour.

That combined with the fact that there is enough increased activity around Mount Saint Helens to warrant an official "Notice of Volcanic Unrest" - alongside all of the hurricanes making landfall in the US - really make you wonder what's going on. All that's missing is some avalanches, extra flooding, increased earthquake activity in Yellowstone, and a horrible snow storm season for my neck of the woods and then it's really time to worry.
