Bookies may think that Daniel Radcliffe has "the look" of The Doctor but he most certainly does not have the acting chops and nor do I think we've seen him have the humour The Doctor needs to have. Please no. Please?

Poor David Tennant - they've been asking him when he's going to leave since the day he took the part. And while it's possible he won't be back for season five in 2010, that hasn't been declared and won't be for a while.

uuughh...no no no Radcliff can't do it...I'm sorry but he's just a 'boy' he's NOT Dr. WHO material! None of the others on their list would be very good either. Now James Purefoy (my icon here playing Marc Antony in 'ROME') would be excellent! He's got that witty banter and sparkle of a Doctor :)

I could see Radcliffe as a Companion, but the next Doctor after Barty Crouch David Tennant? Also, he's hellbent on not being typecast in the fantasy/SF ghetto. Not a chance in the world.
