I should probably be giving everyone an update about how I'm personally doing as my life has been quite trying of late....I'm struggling with several demons right now and am going through a challenging time. That will have to wait.

I've been playing more and more with Facebook as many of my friends and peers seem to be migrating there. I still need to do some updating of my "Interests" and such but they've recently added a whole slew of Application add-ons that take advantage of other Social Networks users may have accounts on.

I'm running into a dilemma - I've spent a significant amount of time rating the movies I see on the IMDB which is owned by Amazon. Yet despite being one of the very early pioneer of what is now referred to as "Web 2.0", Amazon has not fully migrated them into their system. So here I have years with of movie voting just sitting there...useless.

On the other hand, Amazon.com hasn't done a decent enough job allowing people to export all of their product voting to other social networks that will then compare it to other friends....or folks on the network to do compatibility, make recommendations and the like.

Unless I'm missing something. I've seen a bunch of sites listed like Flickster and others....but why should I have to start all over again. Anyone write an application to allow me to pull off this legacy voting?

A lot of us are trying to figure out how to better integrate stuff like the voting and comments and things to other social networks, it doesn't help there are so many out there and they all have their own integration quirks.

It's one of my biggest projects on the horizon concerning these issues so definitely good to hear some feedback, especially when you are my audience. (Professionally speaking)

You wrote this over a week ago. I'm sorry that I have not read your blog lately. The first sentence really jumped out at me. Call me at work or home after 7pm.
